Position Description:
The successful candidate will provide IT services and support our clients. Services we provide include managed IT services and monitoring, server installation, configuration, service and support, desktop, laptop and mobile device setup, installation, service and support, network infrastructure support, Microsoft Office suites support. The right candidate for this role Must Enjoy interfacing with customers and providing support and solutions from the Server, Email, Switch and Desktop level. This role will be a great building block for a mid-level network engineer looking for the next step in their career.
Required Skills
- Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003, including Small Business Server
- Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista
- Microsoft Office 2010, 2007 and 2003
- Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, 2007, 2003.
- Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy
- Experience with server backup software and processes
- Experience with corporate level anti-virus and anti-malware solutions
- Experience with Installation, configuration, and maintenance of common hardware firewall solutions. (Juniper / SonicWall / Cisco)
- Experience in standard server and desktop maintenance including patch management, performance monitoring and server tuning
- Experience with general network administration including LAN/WAN/Wireless/TCP/IP processes
- Experience with hardware & software troubleshooting, installation and migration.
- Industry Experience
- Minimum 3 years experience providing server, desktop and network service and
- Experience providing IT services to external customers a strong plus
- Must be able to interface with end user customers and small to mid-size business owners.
Certifications Desired:
- CompTIA
- Microsoft
- Cisco certifications a strong plus – CCNA
- ( Plus – Kaseya or N-Able Monitoring Tools )
